High temperature resistance: The absence of elastomeric secondary seals allows it to withstand extremely high temperatures (up to 800°c or even higher, depending on the metal material).
Corrosion resistance: Both the bellows and seal faces can be manufactured from highly corrosion-resistant materials like hastelloy, titanium, or tantalum.
Suitability for high-viscosity media: High-viscosity media can easily cause spring blockage in traditional seals, whereas the bellows structure remains unaffected.Compact structure, short axial length, better rigidity, and strong resistance to vibration and shock. Operation is smoother due to the absence of o-ring stick-slip effect.
