Replacing the battery in a smart lock is a crucial step in routine maintenance. Different lock models have three main battery removal methods:

1. Side Removal Method: Suitable for models where the battery compartment is located on the side panel (such as some apartment locks). Locate the side panel clips according to the instruction manual and gently press to remove the battery. Avoid forceful operation to prevent breakage of the casing.

2. Back Cover Removal Method: Use a Phillips screwdriver (PH00 specification) to remove 2-4 fastening screws. Suitable for commercial models where the battery compartment is integrated into the back panel. It is recommended to wear anti-static gloves during operation.

3. USB Rechargeable Type (Input 5V/1A): Emergency power can be provided via the Micro-USB interface, but continuous charging should not exceed 4 hours to prevent overcharging. All operations must be performed with the power off. It is recommended to replace the CR123A lithium battery (1500mAh capacity) every 12 months to ensure stable operation of the door lock RFID module (operating frequency 13.56MHz).
